  1. Graduated from high school, Mount St Helens blew up. The red dishes are beautiful and somehow appropriate.

  2. I was 9 years old when Mt St Helens blew. My mom, my sister, and I were in Yakima WA to visit family. The morning started out like any beautiful, sunny, blue-skied, spring day. Then, light turned to dark, day turned to night, and the ash fell from the sky. The street lights came on, car headlights came on, and it was so, so dark. Windshield wipers were necessary to brush the ash from the windshield, snow shovels were needed to remove ash from the driveways and streets. No one really knew what to do.

Tell us a story.
