  1. This is the day I left for the army. I was 18, eager, terrified and unbelievably proud. My dad watched me swear in, then drove me to the San Fransisco airport. I’d never been on a plane longer than an hour before. I left with 3 boys I never met before that day. A whole other part of my life began that day. I was in the army for only 4 years but it forever shaped who I am.

  2. This was the day I moved to New York City. Brooklyn on Court St between 3rd and 4th Place. rent was $775.
