I was born on this day in some small hospital all the way in Texas! I think this project is so beautiful and it truly resonates with me since I bring my polaroid camera every where I go too. Thank you Jamie and Hugh for letting us peek into a truly magical world. <3

I wasn’t born until 1999 and my boyfriend wasn’t born until December of 1997 so finding our birthdays was impossible. So I decided to find our anniversary 20 years before it happened for the heck of it. We first met in our high school’s production crew and this picture reminds me a lot of that because of what the people are doing in the picture itself.

I was born on this day too, perhaps around the same time this picture was taken. I think it’s heart breaking, but also beautiful, and I’m honoured. The day I was brought into the world is the day life changed unalterably for a beautiful soul somewhere across the world from me. Life is so complicated, and pretty beautiful in that complexity I think. I’m grateful for this photographer and who he was and is.

Awwwww. I was curious about this date… This is the day my husband and I began our relationship. We will obviously be celebrating our 20 year anniversary this Saturday. I’m actually sad to see this was the photo for that date. I saw this photo in the advertisement on FB to show how things had changed for the photographer. I was beginning a new chapter in my life, as was he… very different paths, very sad 🙁

I was born on this day, many , many miles away. This is so interesting. To see what someone was doing or seeing when you were coming into the world. I tried to find my husband’s birthday, unfortunately the photographer didn’t start this until 19 days after he was born: March 11,1979. Bummer 🙁 I wish I had the commitment to do something like this… my kids might appreciate it one day, I do good to keep their baby books updated lol! So very neat!
