My tenth birthday. All my friends punched me in the arm ten times each plus one for good luck!

My twin and I were born this day (:

11-30 is my birthday. My friend just brought me an accordion this week. She wants me to learn it and teach it to her, since I play piano. She’s a fiend for French accordion music.

This was the first day of my life, I now turned 20, 2 days ago.

I look for my birthday and it’s a picture of Lucy the elephant, who I’ve driven by a dozen times. ❤

The day the music died…30 years ago and I was 12 days past my 16th birthday when my Mum passed away. The life of my Dad, 4 brothers and myself took a whole new course that day from what might have been! But we have lived, we have laughed, we have had challenges and successes and we have loved and been loved. Mum missed it all but she would have been proud.

The day this photo was taken, I was being born half a world away. Blows my mind – the day I came into this world (not without difficulty), a man in New York took this photo. I can only assume these are his friends; they look like they’re having a good day. And now, 26+ years later, I’ve found this photograph. Even though he’s not here anymore, our lives have still crossed, in the form of a little Polaroid window into what looks like a good day in his life – right at the very beginning of mine.

This was the day my daughter was born. One of the happiest days of my life. Where one life begins one is coming to and end. Seems sad not to think about it.

I supposed to be born on 10 May, but my mum neither had any contraction nor signs of me getting out of her belly. She was over weeks pregnant, so the doctor had to make a decision to deliver me that day. I’m glad they did, if not I might not be here and found your site today <3

This was the day my mother and I almost died in childbirth. Because I was born in the 20th century, we received the necessary medical treatment needed to survive. At 7:28pm, on July 22, 1081. I was born, via c-section, and luckily, my mother and I both lived.
My life from that first day, has weaved a complex and magnificent tapestry that is anything but boring.
It’s amazing how someone’s ripple can touch you. It’s beautiful to see a photo from that day.
