This day is the day my first child was born. Katarina came into my life at 9:28 that night. Four more siblings followed her over the next ten years, but she will always be my baby girl. She got married two weeks ago to a loser in Texas. This picture signifies mjoy on her birth and my loneliness of losing her.

On this day, my tenth birthday, my father tool my little brother and I to Manhattan for the day. We first went to Madison square garden to see Ringling brothers Circus where we had a blast! We tried to see Empire Strikes Back but the lines went around the block…TWICE, so we decided to have dinner and see the movie on Long Island later. My dad asked me what I wanted and I could have anything on the menu, I chose the biggest New York steak on the menu, medium-well. When the steak came out under-cooked, my father took the plate into the kitchen and told tge chef to fix his son’s birthday dinner. It was a great day and this picture shares the same smile I had on the greatest day of my childhood!

I was born on this day. I know that it was a Tuesday and a fairly nice day in Idaho, hopefully it was in New York, too.

My parents tied the knot this day… they would later be divorced but then would get married again. They got married within the week of there second engagement. They wanted to move quickly and not waste time because my dad is diagnosed with carcinoid syndrome so before he runs out of time t h eyes want to be sure to cross as many little less things off his list. He should already be dead, it’s terminal so he literally could b ed gone any second.

My sister was born

The man I love was born this day. It’s nice to think about. A simple day, rolling with the punches finding solitude in hold his cat in his lap and my love was taking his first breath. Life is strange but it’s nice… there’s simple poetry in these pictures… that we think about what our day entailed and what happened here. And how this simple day for his cat was a life changing one for our own individual worlds.

I turned 16 that day.

I turned 13 that day… by then living in Longview, Texas. Lots of SUN. 🙂

One year before this picture I turned 10, loved school & classmates, lived in a big house w/lots of family & friends nearby. By 6/9/79, I lived in a 23′ motorhome 2,000 miles away from that former life & almost everyone in it. I still had my dog & two cats… and two parents who had years yet to discover how much they disliked each other. There would be another 6 years before I would finally get free of that motorhome & experience my own life starting again. This picture reminds me of a beloved aunt & uncle of mine. 🙂

Funny. This was my 13th birthday and it looks like they are celebrating something. I, however, was in the mental health hospital at the start of my lifelong struggle with agoraphobia, panic disorder, and severe depression. I’d rather look at this photo any day.
