How appropos that there’s two people in this pic….
My twin sisters were born this day at 6:42 and 6:43 pm in Port Jefferson Long Island, NY.
They were 6 weeks early so they were rushed to Stony Brook University Hospital where they were for two months. They came home in Sept.
I turned 12 that Sept.

Dude, I just found out about his story. He was such a beautiful guy, I’m sure.

I’m sad he passed away just a year before I was born. It amazes me how the pictures he took have told many stories and how people remember what they did in X day due to the dates of said pictures.

For whatever unknown reason to me, I feel such a deep connection with the artist. This was my birthday as well. He somehow speaks through his Polaroids and gives you a simple understanding of what he was feeling or thinking with each, and it’s both elegant & fulfilling, as well sorrowful and stoic. I have such a hard time describing how Im moved by each photo… Mesmerizing and haunting, all at once. Thank you for these experiences.
