This is my birthday, at leadt that is on what my birth certificate said.
My mom and I came from Vietnam that is where I couldn’t have my birth day was written just because we did not have an address.
My mom said she gave birth to me months before July, but she couldn’t remember the exact day.
She was busy to work after two days rest in bed for giving life to me.
My father wasn’t there when she did it.
I never looked back this day just because I know nit is not my “birthday”.
After saw the random video on Facebook, I found this story about the person who took everyday pictures in 18 years.
It means so much to me that I realized, Life is really short and I don’t have time to waste.
Looked back, Yeah, My birthday was on a Sunday.
I can imagine that how happy my mom was when she held my birth certificate.
I was mad at her for a long time because she doesn’t remember my birthday.
However, It is ok now.

This is the day I was born. April 14, 1996. On the other side of the country from where this photo was taken, a baby was born at 12:54 AM in the small town of Paradise, CA. She weighed 7lbs and 7oz. Her parents were young, 18 years old. She had an older sister who was just about to turn 3. She lived a very ordinary life in a very ordinary town. She was raised in the country side of the valley and grew up with more animals than she can count. She never experienced death of any loved ones. And though her family was never considered rich or well off, she never went without. She was humble.
That baby is about to turn 21. She is married and has been for over two years to her high school sweetheart. Her husband is away now for the military now though he will return in a few months. They are planning a large vow renewal and soon there after will have children of their own.
This is the shorty story of my life.

I always been curious of what other people are doing or thinking…where ever in the world it may be…THIS IS PRICELESS….THANK YOU!!

No story, literally just heard of Jamie through Facebook and was instantly captured by his story. This date 06/03/1979 is the day in which I was born.

Rest in paradise good sir. I know it’s been almost twenty years since you’ve been fine but I feel like I’ve known you my whole life. Haven’t seen all your works of art but I’ve seen many. My plan is to see every picture on this website. They tell wonderful stories and I just wish you were still around to continue this masterpiece but God has reasons for taking good souls and I know that he had to have toy for a significant reason. Continue to rest well good sir, I’m just glad you’re not in pain anymore.

If I could explain the connection this photo has to my life right now. I literally just broke down because of this photo. This day is the day I was born. And right now. This second in my life, I’ve realized that I need to treasure the love of my life more. That I need to treat her with more respect than I have been. Although I’m a good person, she deserves so much more. She’s the mother of my child. She deserves every part of me. Thank you. Thank you so much even after you have passed you are helping people. And I aspire to do the same. Thank you so so much.

I see memories, nostalgia, love and nonsense. The mug on the tables and blanket on their lap is as symbolic of comfort as it is literal. I imagine the mug has warm coffee or tea inside. The pen and paper are tools for expression as is the Polaroid that embraces all these elements. On this day, perhaps some many mile away, I was born. I began my journey in this world sharing this particular moment of time. How blessed we are to be human.
