My 18th birthday. Oddly enough, this man reminds me a bit of my best friend’s father.

Love this collection. As a photographer, I deeply appreciate the dedication it took to continue taking a photo every day. I especially love that these are Polaroids. They’re may favorite kind of images because they are so intimate. You have to get up close and personal to view them. They sort of invade your private space.

So strange this is the day I came in to the world. I first clicked on the Fourth of July thinking it was the third and felt no connection. Then I saw this pic and oddly felt a connection then realized this is the third . Truly amazing it looks like a deli Or butcher shop and my father is butcher it reminds me of visiting him at work on Saturdays as a kid. he was coolest most important man in the world and still is . He to a cancer survivor

There is something in these photos that evokes seriously feeling in me. I’ve been going Year to year starting with my birth year and every photo in some way represents something about me, something I love about me. Its taken me by surprise every time I progress a year. I would have been 6 this year. I love hockey!! Every year I map out of the playoffs like a crazy person in hopes of getting that beautiful cup they’re holding. It amazes me how this album with only the photos taken on my birthday are illustrating me.
