I was born at 11 am on this day! Awesome pic!

my 18th birthday – and no doubt I was having a celebratory masturbate..

Just graduated Cosmetology College on the 3rd of July and this was my first day at my new job. Loved It!!! Worked here until I got my feet wet and went on to my own shop after 5yrs. Cut hair for the next eighteen years…and then some.

Welp, just discovered this through a happenstance imgur post and honestly i’m glad that I did, a simple picture a day helps to really show how much matters in a person’s life and honestly I decided the first thing to do was to look for my birthday photo (as I’ve heard is a common thing to do) and i’m genuinely glad that it’s not a necessarily beautiful photo or amazing photography or anything like that, it simply is a photograph taken of this man hanging out with company (I assume friends? correct me if not) and just doing his usual thing, in all honesty I may start doing this sort of thing myself, it would be unfortunately digital and so there would be less physical memorabilia to follow but hey, it still counts right? anyway I’ve rambled long enough, thank you Jamie for taking the photos and thank you Hugh and Betsy for allowing simple people like me to actually view them with this site, have a great day if you do happen to read this way too long comment.

I was born today ❤️ My mother did her makeup and dressed nice before going to the hospital, because she didn’t want anyone to see her not made up. She later sweated all the makeup off and ripped a patch of my dads beard out during labor, while my family faught with doctors to cram into the room with cameras and video recorders. Later that night, my aunt had the radio station play “Susie Q” by CCR.

I’m not an interesting girl. I was born in france, I live in ireland for my boyfriend. And I have the feeling of not being in my place. But where is my place?

Thinking about how I was being brought into this world in Knoxville TN.. and this picture was being taken the same day. It’s so cool I love it!!

This is the day that I was born. I missed being born on my dad’s birthday by just a few hours, but we still celebrate our birthdays together anyway. My parents were 32 years old, my brother was 13, and my sister was 2. I’ve always thought my birthday was a magical number since it is multiples of itself (3×3=9, 9×9=81). We lived in the backwoods of Oklahoma at the time, in a cute little house that my daddy built. We would go down to the river to go swimming, mom would hang the clothes on the clothesline in the backyard, and my big brother would ride his bike up and down the dirt road. I remember he always wore those knee socks with the stripes at the top.

My family lived in Brooklyn and I turned 9 on this day.

I was born on this day. I find it interesting that this can easily describe me. I love photography. Taking photos of other people, especially women.

This is also my birthday. Houston. Crazy to see so much of his daily before I was even around to observe.

My only child, a son. was born on this day. Like the picture, it was a day with bursts of light, but also very blurry and confusing, Shortly after delivery we found out that my son had Down Syndrome. I am happy to say that over the years, my son has grown into an amazing, brave, hilarious and sometimes stubborn man. He turns 29 tomorrow and I am so grateful for him.
