Amanda was born today. She gave her mom a hard time coming into this strange world. She was the first native Floridian I had ever met. As she grew to be a young girl, we thought that she was stubborn, and opinionated. Later on in her life, I realized she was assertive and had the strength of her convictions. She is beautiful and kind and loving. She was and always has been my best friend. It just took me 55 years to realize it. She gives her all to anyone she meets. I have never met anyone with so much love to give to the world. Please be good to her. Love Daddy.

My first of 2 daughters was born today. I think I have only been this happy once before. She gave her mother almost 12 hours of agonizing pain, and embarrasing moments. Then she was delivered by C-Section. Courtney was never fussy. She was a beautiful girl that never hurt anyone. She hasn’t spoken to me in almost 7 years, since my divorce. I still love her an I hope she reads this someday. If you go to the next day 6/20/86. You’ll see the same story. I made a few mistakes in the story. One of the many which explains a bit about why she doesn’t speak to me. But I never made a mistake in the girl I married, that carried my daughter. Still love them both.
