One year before this picture I turned 10, loved school & classmates, lived in a big house w/lots of family & friends nearby. By 6/9/79, I lived in a 23′ motorhome 2,000 miles away from that former life & almost everyone in it. I still had my dog & two cats… and two parents who had years yet to discover how much they disliked each other. There would be another 6 years before I would finally get free of that motorhome & experience my own life starting again. This picture reminds me of a beloved aunt & uncle of mine. 🙂
