The day I was born. Looking at the pictures feels like I lost someone dear to me, like a friend whom I never get the chance to talk to after a long time.

I was born on this exact day. 😊 And it’s really interesting to see a picture of what it was like then. Find it amazing to know that someone still has pictures from back then even I don’t have a lot of pictures from my childhood. In fact I was really delighted seeing this picture it may not make sense to me directly but I just felt delightful seeing this picture. Jamie Livingston soul still lives indeed.

I often wonder what other people are doing at a given moment in time. This feels so intensely personal for some reason… I now live in Canada. So strange how time passes and where we end up.

I was born.

This was the day I was born. It’s funny because I often have bandaids on my hands or fingers. I am clumsy. Always cutting myself or dropping things, running into walls, them sorta things. The skin on my hands often crack from being dry. Also, I feel as though this could possibly be a metaphor for my life. Putting a bandaid over the wounds of life and keep going about. That’s what I do…. Normally. As of late, I’ve been melancholy, I suffer from bipolar and depression, it’s been hitting hard the past couple of weeks. While drinking my coffee this morning, I figured I’d get on fb and look at some videos people have posted. I didn’t get very far before I seen the one on Jamie Livingston. What he did was absolutely amazing. I envy that. I wish I had the strive and courage to commit to such a thing. I feel lifted somehow seeing this site. I feel that I to can overcome, and in the end, if I cannot go on any longer and I can no longer overcome. My life just may have touched even just 1 person, then I have meaning. That’s the thing everyone wants. Meaning, to have meaning in another’s life. Thank you Jamie Livingston.

How powerful these glimpses into another person’s life can be. I find myself sobbing for the life he celebrated every day and the life he has missed now that he’s gone. This picture really got to me. I felt as though I’ve lost a dear friend. I’m so moved a few in awe of Jaime’s work. Thank you to his friends and family that made sharing his photos with the world possible. I am grateful to have shared time together on this Earth. 💔😢💜
