This is the day I was born. Sometimes I get worried I spend too much time thinking about the past, so initially I didn’t enjoy that the focus was on the rearview mirror in this photo, but then I realized he was only focused on the rearview mirror for the photo and that his eyes would soon be on the road ahead. He used the rearview mirror to have a special little moment, and because of that we learn he is towing something with him which adds to the richness of the story this photo tells, and that makes me think that maybe I shouldn’t feel so guilty about thinking about the past if I get something out of it and if it adds to the richness of my own story.
