This is the day my son was born. Perfect in every way. I had preterm labor and had been put on meds that made me feel awful for a month and a half prior to this. He was still 3 weeks early. And 9lbs6oz and 21″long. He was a quiet baby. Never cried when hungry or needed changed. He just wanted to sleep. He’s now 21 and still quiet and just wants to sleep lol

This is the day my first baby was born. 22 hours of labor. She was 8lbs 4 oz and 21″ long. I named her Samantha. Sam for short. Black hair. Snow white skin. Beautiful puckered red lips. She made me a mommy. And I’ve been proud ever since. She’s 24 now and has two sons of her own. So she not only made me a mother… She made me a grandmother.

Now something new to celebrate along with my birthday is the memory of this awesome guy that invented the selfie named Jamie Livingston.
