I love this photo! The photographer started this project just 2months after my birth but this one is my first birthday. Skateboarding was a big deal while I was growing up. I idolized my brother Pat and for as long as I could remember a skate board was his chosen form of transportation.

I was born this day! It is crazy to me to think that there were people just living there lives and going about their days. Yet I was just starting my life and getting ready to see all the wonderful things that I would come to see. I wonder what he did that day.

I was born that day. A day where my mom was 23 years old and i was born on 23 Sept 1986. I am the second between my two brothers. Tuesday is No.2 of the week too. No.2 seem always be with me. My mom passed away due to Lung Cancer after 30 years with me. She was 52 years old. There is a long story to tell if i have to say from the day i was born.
I am happy to see that she hold the sentence ‘i Love you’ on that day with a beautiful smile 🙂 A perfect day!
A photo is a memory for us –what we used to have and also a reminder what we have to explore another things we used to miss.
Or i can say it also tell you what you have now won’t be lasted forever.Nothing is forever.
We can’t stay on the same spot to repeat the same things but to move forward to discover the unrepeatable things in life.

This is the day I was born. Pretty interesting to see.

This was the day I was born. I was born in Queens, New York. My mother told me it was snowing that day. It’s strange to say but on some level after seeing the short film of all of jaime livingstons photos and looking at this one in particular I feel oddly connected on some level.

This is my birthday 🙂 — Seen this story on Facebook and it was very touching. Glad to see this website is up for people from all over the world to enjoy.

Born on this day 11:38am. Its always amazing to see what happenings are going on parellel to yours.

I was married on this day in Long Grove, IL.

this is the day my husband died in a logging accident. he was 43 years old.. odd that the picture would be of a graveyard.and i had a polka dot dress just like that .

This is also my birthday. I was told the time leading up to my birth through the years. My mom was 21 and had watched her alma mater win their first sectional championship ever in football the night before. Her father had left at 2 in the morning in icy conditions to go on a hunting trip 3 hours away with his buddies when she went into labor at 5 am. They arrived at their lodge to find out that I was on the way and they floored it back home and got there in 45 minutes. They then spent the rest of the day in the waiting room in their hunting gear and holding their rifles until I was born at almost 10 that night.

This was the day I was born. A special day to those around me and myself. Other than it is a Polaroid, this picture looks like it could have been days ago. It’s almost timeless. Nothing in it scream 1984. Maybe the surroundings since I have never been to New York and don’t know if this building is still there. It’s simple. Three people who look happy and don’t mind snapping a pic together.

This is an awesome picture. I looked up my birthday and naturally I found a rollerblade picture, one of my favorite hobbies. The ones on the right even look like the ones I own.

My life began

This was the day I turned 18 on a bus on the way to Ft. Jackson, South Carolina, the day my childhood officially ended and I became a soldier. Little did anyone suspect it had actually ended three years before when I was raped by an older, trusted friend. The events of both days would change me forever.

This was taken at my house on Thanksgiving day. Jamie was getting footage for a film he was making about the holiday season. A great blast from the past for me. And as it happens my partner and the mother of my child was born on this very day.

My birthday.

On this day, I came stubbornly into the carousel ride of life in a no named Brooklyn hospital. My mother tells me it felt like I was hanging from her rib cage. I probably felt that everything was moving too fast; clutching onto the only life I had known.

I turned 21 today!

I can’t believe that I would be the only one to comment on this day. This is my birthday. I saw a video that someone made on Facebook and I have ever since been inspired to start the same routine that Jamie did. Thank you Jamie and may you continue to rest in piece as well all live our lives through the Polaroids that you have taken.
