There’s always someone happy the day you are born.

that was that fantastic day, when he eventully recognized the deep love entering his life. It was his best friend Mary, he married some years later. Only she knew back then that he actually loved t-rex badly. So there were two kinds of revelation in his life.

This is my birthday too!

This is the day I was born. I highly resemble the man in the photo minus a few age lines. This is a beautiful thing you guys have done for Mr. Jamie Livingston.

Day I was Born 🙂 glad someone got a new gift

My sisters last morning on Earth. She got up, dressed, and started walking to the bus stop. At about 8:15am, her undiagnosed enlarged heart gave out and she dropped to the Southern California desert floor. She wouldn’t be discovered until about 4:00 when people became worried that she didn’t return from school.
She was 12.

My brother was born this day in NY. It was the first good thing to happen to our family that year, as both my grandmothers died and my father was diagnosed with a brain tumor months earlier. I was too young to understand reproduction, and when my mother went into labor I asked for a big sister. She just laughed and said “I’ll try.” Mother, brother, and father all left the hospital the same day.

I was born that day.

The day I officially entered the military. I was homeless, hopeless, and didn’t have the support of my closest family members. After 3 months of not talking to me, my mom freaked out at the last minute when she realized she might never see me again and asked me to stay home.
The growing pains were bad. I realized how uncaring the world can be, but I also learned to rely on myself and get things done. I met all new friends and they became my family.

I came into this world at 1:19 am via emergency cesarean after Mom labored for 5 days. So instead of being pushed into the world I was lifted up into a bright light. The Dr told my Mom I looked like a queen come to judge her subjects and found them lacking.

My sister’s birthday

I started my life on this day in the midwest.

This particular day changed my life 20 years later. I met my soul mate who was born on this date. And life has never been better.

I would’ve been 14 today, although I cannot remember what I did or what my family did to celebrate? I just read a glorious account of Jamie’s work and felt compelled to visit the site. I am in awe, I will be here for some time…

My birthday. I’ve never seen Casablanca but I think I will now in honor of Jamie Livingston. I’m a nurse in a step down ICU. I recently saw a Facebook video about this website and the photographer behind it. The end of his life is what I experience with different patients all the time. It’s amazing to see it from such an intriguing and enlightening perspective. He was a patient but he had so many stories about each and everyday of his life even if they were small things. Everyone should learn to appreciate the small things in life. I know I need to. My 20 month old is already growing so fast…I should take a photo a day of him. I think I will

What a beautiful picture

This is the day I was born.

I was born on this date, at 5am in Finland. My parents were kinda old-fashioned, which meant that men weren’t present when their children were born. Mom took a cab alone and rode it for over an hour to the nearest hospital (we lived far in the forest). I was in a hurry to get into this world and was almost born in the taxi. I have been in a hurry ever since, moving around, working loads of different jobs. It’s been hard. Sometimes I can’t wait to die because it’s so hard, but I have accepted that I can’t choose my time to go. You just gotta keep on moving, filling your time with people and stuff. I’m far from the forest, far from my family now. Gotta keep on moving.

It must have been the evening in Finland, when Jamie took this photo of people stretching. I wonder if they are preparing for a show or just exercising. It’s Circus, I guess. The life is a fucking Circus in itself, isn’t it.

The day I got married! While we had a traditional ceremony, we wanted the reception to be something to remember. We were in our mid-twenties, so keeping this going until 1:00 AM was no problem. Family, friends, and an eventually merging of our group with the Burlington, VT LBGT New Year’s Eve ball made it unforgettable!
