When I’d read he was a Mets fan I just had to look up this particular date. I was not surprised! Quite a few Mets-themed pictures for the month before this. He must have been ecstatic.

This is the day that I was born. It is strangely surreal that this was taken on that very same day. I love the colours and light in this picture- it’s just so simple and beautiful. I was so sad to read Jamie’s story but it’s lovely to see his pictures take on a life of their own and be displayed on the internet for the whole world to see, thank you for sharing them x

Nov 14, 1982. The day I was born. Since then I’ve remained as silly as possible while traveling all over the globe, sampling beer in every country I have been lucky to see. So in a strange way this photo speaks to me even though I hate when people inject themselves in other’s situations. I have always pondered what life was like before I was born and certainly the future, but this was the first time I have ever truly experienced the wonder of the particular date of my birth. I thank Jamie for helping bring that date a little closer than it already was while simultaneously adding a depth of reality that makes it less selfish. Humbling…

Although I was born on the same date but exactly a year later from when this photograph is taken. It’s so awesome to see that Jamie was with his friends and family during tough times. Oh hey this is like my bday 7 yrs before I was born

I found this website on my FB feed of a Mental Floss video about all these photos and him and his life. This photo was taken on the day of my birth. 😀 How wonderful and thought provoking. What someone was doing in another part of the country during the day I was born. Very thought provoking. Glad these photos are around. Is there a chance they could all get put into a large book?
