I was born in this day in 1981. By the sun in the picture I’d venture to guess that this is about 5:30 in the afternoon right around the time I was born.

Although I was born in Chicago – I’m a New Yorker now therefore it’s a bit more personally relative.

I was born on this day but in 1999. It saddens me to see that this is the last photo taken on June 18. Just 2 years away from my birthday…his photos give me just a warm feeling in my gut and I admire them greatly. Really makes me miss taking pictures.

This picture was taken 2 days after my birthday. And this cat looks exactly like the cat we had at the time, he was named Leo. He was my very first cat, and today I’m an ethologist doing a PhD on cats…

The day my first child was born, Emma. She will be 21 in 2018. Amazing to think that Jamie had been doing this everyday for the previous 17 years. Such a cool thing to do. X

This day means the world to me, as this was the day the love of my life was born, and she makes me feel like the luckiest man in the world, day after day, Forever and always.

Just watched a video on Facebook about Jamie. This picture was taken on the day i was born. Such beautiful work.

The above photo was snapped on my birthdate. I notice that the subjects all have a thumbs down. It might have been the same reaction my dad had had earlier that day when my swollen mother stepped down from the loft of their little house to escape the heat and stretch her legs. While my father was stabilizing the ladder, to aid my mother in her descent, her water broke, drenching his head and shoulders, and announcing my prescient arrival. A rather unforgettable first impression, I should think. Per my mother’s birth plan, I was born later that afternoon at home (without pain medication) in rural Eastern Oregon (an hour’s drive to the nearest hospital). I have been making waves in the family ever since.

Why is there no picture for August 29th this year?

This was the day I got married. My husband died of cancer this year.

I was born on this day. Can’t explain why but I imagine myself to be the baby in the photo. I would love to meet them.

It’s crazy how the day I was born he was doing something already. I don’t know if I can express what I feel, but I feel small. And not in a bad way. I think it’s amazing how we can know other stories and understand that life is this endless line where you’re just a tiny part of it. I feel so lucky to have shared a part of his story. Even if it’s just three years.
