I was born on this day. 9 weeks premature and spent a month in ICU.

Here I am now 22 years old.

Im a photagrapher myself and a student film maker, living in Ireland.

This work has inspired me to take even more photos. As someone who struggles with health, they remind me its a way to capture places and moments the good and the bad. They are memories I can leave behind of others and of myself, long after im gone. I hope to someday have such an amazing collection it images as Jamie had.

I was born today.

I also came to see what picture was under my birthday. ♡

3000 miles away, my mother (who is from Long island) was giving birth to me. It was a good Friday as well as being April fool’s day. The nuns in attendance made sure to remind her. Though it is sunny in this picture, it was snowing for her. Seems fitting that this is a picture of someone performing. That’s how my parents met and I still am in theater to this day.

It’s nice to know just what was happening on the day you were born.
Even if it was over 3,000 miles away 🙂

I was born on this very day. It was in a town called Dartford in England. Apparently I was over a week late. I can’t help thinking that this late arrival set the path for the rest of my life, as I’ve never been on time for anything.

I’m 27, I live in Israel but was born in Liverpool, England.
I just saw a video in passing on Facebook describing the life of this photographer. The pictures are beautiful and I most certainly hope I’ll be able to leave behind at least half of this kind of legacy.

This is the day I gave birth to the best son I could ever ask for. He makes my heart smile when ever I think about him. We celebrated his birthday together. I really enjoyed it. I enjoy the fact that he still likes spending time with me. Sometimes when kids grow up they get to busy for you. Not my son, at least not yet. Take time to enjoy those special moments.

I like this photo. I don’t remember the last time it snowed on my birthday, but I do remember my parent’s telling me this day was a blizzard. If this was New York, I wasn’t too far away. These people are happy, I like that.
