Born on this day. My father had a terrible flu. He also needed the hospital. Apparently it was a long night, born 40 minutes into the 10th. When they brought me home it was pouring rain and my parent’s couldn’t leave the car for hours. It tends to always rain on my birthday.

What’s crazy is I know this day to be Easter. It was the day I was brought home from hospital after being born on April 13th, 1990. Love this project, sad the photographer couldn’t see it become what it has, but amazing at the lasting impact it has had.

This was the day I was born!! It’s so cool to see someone else living their life on the day I was given mine. The same day my parents officially became the parents of two girls, and their other daughter got the official title of “Big Sister.” Someone was having a normal Monday. The day my mom was watching the snow from inside a hospital room, he seemed to be outside enjoying it, unaware that somewhere in the world, someone’s life was forever changed.
I’d also like to note, my dad had the same coat!!

Halfway around the world, on this same date, I was taking my first breaths on this earth. One and a half month before the due date, same day as these two people smiled and awkwardly posed for a photo in the streets of new york city. Can’t help but wonder how this exact place looks almost 23 years later.

I was born on this day 20 years ago! My family likes to call me a miracle since I was a premature baby and had to stay in a neonatal intensive care unit for a month before my mom could held me for the first time. Thank you for reminding me the value of being alive Jamie! ♡

This is a scary photo. My second child was born on this day. He does not like clowns. Not at all. I started having contractions on Thanksgiving and asked my mother in law to babysit our first child while I was in labor. I had contractions all day Friday November 29th and finally had my baby on November 30. So strange to contemplate that this photo was taken the same day that my child was born…

my first child was born 2/22/92. i thought i had a daughter, but they declared themselves non-binary. i am ok with a non-binary child. we still love and support each other. although: their father could not accept this, so i’m not with their father anymore….
