Omg, there are so many of us! That makes this even more amazing!

So…I was adopted when I was three. Our was a private adoption and I was just young enough that I didn’t remember and grew up not knowing. I’ve never seen a baby picture of myself, and no one in my family talked much about those years. For decades I’ve known very little about those years.

It was oddly cathartic and comforting to go through and see a picture on my birthday for every year from the time I was born to the time I graduated high school. Thank you so much!

I was born on this day in Manhasset, two months premature. My parents told me that there was this megablizzard that hit the island the day before, but this is the first photographic evidence I’ve ever seen of it. My dad’s parents grew up in Valley Stream.

I saw a video docu about this in facebook, and knowing that he took pictures everyday, the first thing I looked for is the picture the day I was born. There could be time differences since I’m from the Philippines but there’s something utterly nostalgic as I look at these photos. Marvelous work.
