21 years ago, I was born on this day. Fitting photo, i love the beach.

Born on this day…and I actually have a similar newspaper headlining her death. I sometimes feel like I have a connection with her, even though I was born several hours before her death and on the other side of the world.

Sometime over the next few weeks, Jamie got Stacy to cut my hair.
He had a cool rat’s tail, I just had it chopped back, like hers.

I don’t remember the day Jamie died, but I remember the day I learned he had died. We were walking through the park behind the NY public library, and Tal was telling me about how Chris had taken a year off to be with Jamie, and I suddenly realized. Babette and the boys were there. I was so sad for all the Christmas cards I never wrote, the moped races we never had; the snide remarks and fancy hats. I’m so happy he left us this.

This is the day that I was brought into this world by the most wonderful and caring people in the world to be introduced to the best big sister anyone could ask for. From Day Dot she has protected me and kept me safe. It’s sad to think that as I was taking steps into life Jamie was starting to take steps into eternal peace and rest. A true artist who shall be remembered throughout the decades. xx

Well this is my birthday 😋 Weirdly enough food is a huge part of my life so the fact he’s outside a diner makes complete sense that 16-3-93 is officially The Day Of Food 👌

Like most people post, this was the day I was born. To see a moment in time captured by another that holds such significant meaning to you is mind boggling. Attachment? Worn? A mix of feelings as I look into the eyes of the statues, as I imagine my hand brushing across the worn table top. Reminds me of my grandmother’s house.
