My wife and I were married on this day. Then at night my wife sat in the audience as my comedy group, Waiters By Day, performed, including one routine that had me in drag playing Glinda the Good Witch, and another as a ultra-nerd soda jerk (my wife loves telling people this). Then we celebrated at a video arcade and White Castle. Yes, we were young, and poor, but that night (and 30+ years later) I felt (and still feel) like the richest man on Earth.
