This is the day I was born.

This is the day my older sister Jennifer was born. A date she’s had to share quite a few times with the holiday of Thanksgiving. Back in the day my parents being immigrants from Montevideo Uruguay didn’t celebrate the holiday. But strangely for as long as I can remember we’ve always celebrated Thanksgiving. Sometimes we get an extra dessert in the form of birthday cake.

My 18th birthday!

This photo was taken the day I was born. I had no idea what the weather was like the day I was born, but look at that blue sky. Light jackets, it wasn’t too cold but probably the perfect middle weather between hot and cold, my favorite. I wonder who the man in this picture is. He had no idea when this picture was taken that one day, the person who was just born, was going to see this photo.

I gave birth to our amazing son, Alec, on this day.

My husband, two pomerians and a very pregnant me, moved into our first home together. We are still here.
My son, Alec, is now in his last semester at Syracuse. The two pomerians have passed. And we have a new addition,
Peedi (# Peedithepom). Also had another awesome son Luke, who I’ll write about on his birthday.
He is headed to Syracuse in the fall 2017.
What an amazing life.

This was taken on the day of my birth. I believe there was an equally interesting story to go along with this picture. It’s hard to tell if this is mud or blood, the result of a discolored clog or all of the above. I like the mystery that this image provides.

I was born this day at 3pm. My mother has always told me that it was an extremely hot and sunny day and she was exhausted from the heat and pregnancy. This photo perfectly describes the day i was born to me. In this photo, the sun, the heat, the time of the day all take me back in time as if i am a visitor to the day i was born.

Was born this year but March 6, 2011 I was in a house fire that killed 6 of my friends 🙁 it’s crazy bc I saw a streetlight vaguely shining through a bend blind in a house full of smoke…3 of us made it out that night and the picture on this website for the following day is of a bed. We were sleeping when the fire took place and most didn’t even awake from their sleep when detectives found them.

I’m not sure what to make of this. Is it a balloon? Medical device? This only makes me curious to solve the puzzle of his story on this day. A day that I was born.

the day i was born. My mother was driving from Des Moines back to Creston. She almost had me on the highway.

This was my birthday and I remember because my girl friend decided to get back @ me for not celebrating her birthday the way she saw fit. So she came over just long enough to say happy Birthday… then she left. Needless to say we’re not together anymore. 😒
