This day our second daughter Annika was born. A Little crying Baby with red hairs. Now she is 26 years old. Already looking for her way in life. We Wisch her good luck in her life.

My birthday as well. So strange to glimpse every day life beyond my reality that day. I can’t fully explain why I’m so drawn to this photo. But I’m comforted by it. I suppose the realization that life is so much bigger than all of us helps us appreciate the small part we have to play in something so grand. I certainly appreciate the artist for dedicating himself to this project; and the creator of this site for making it available. Thank you.

The date that reflects the last time my husband’s family was together…his dad, mom, sister, brother in law, nieces, my husband & I
His Mom would die days later. She was the glue that held it all together. This solitary female figure is so profoundly perfect.

My husband’s mom died on this date. She was a pillar of strength…we all leaned on her, mostly my father-in-law who was in the throes of Alzheimers.

The day we found out my husband had to have a liver transplant or he would die. The world tilted for us, it took all my mental, psychological, physical and faith based strength to keep from falling.

A friend passed away almost 24 hours ago. I grieve and feel the same fear and anxiety I had when my father passed over two years ago. Obsessing over getting older and how I fear it. I then heard about Jamie’s photos today. Probably by some sort of divine message. And here I am looking up my birthday. Looks like I should remember that as much as death is real, so is living. And birthdays. And joy. So thank you for reminding me (and I’m sure many) that living… living is the answer.

Friday 3/10/89 at 9:36 am, I was born to two immigrants in Paterson, NJ. I was 18 inchs long and 6lbs. The town I lived in was clean, healthy, the kids played in the streets till it was too dark to see. My aunt lived in the apartment above us. It was a good day to be brought into life.
