I was just going through the pictures and this was one of the first ones to catch my attention. I think it’s artistic, especially since a lot of the other pictures have to do with the people in his life. It makes me wonder what he was doing when he saw this, who he was with. Honestly, it reminded me of something my friends and I would have the joy of discovering.
Then I noticed that this one is October 14 – my birthday! Interesting that it caught my eye before I even realised it was my birthday.
My mom turned a year old on this day. My grandmother would have just turned seventeen the month before. My day would have turned 3 two months before. It’s kind of a good representation of our lives, you think you have a straight path through life and all of a sudden you’re taking a left turn that you didn’t see coming.
