I had been sick all weekend with what the on-call dr. thought was the flu. Husband dragged me to dr. office that morning and found I had bladder and kidney infection and my unborn baby’s heart beat was very slow and weak. Went to hospital across the street and had emergency c-section for my 6 week premature son. He weighed 6 lbs. 4 oz. (I know, big for preemie but my other children were 8 and 9 ls.) His lungs weren’t developed so he was taken by helicopter to Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City. He only had to spend about 10 days in the hospital. Feel very blessed to have him. He is now over 6′ tall and a wonderful son.
