I left school .. the beginning of a long glorious summer before college. Where the days really as golden as we remember them?

I was born on this day at St. Johns Hospital (no longer there) in Queens NY. Although not the most exciting picture compared to others, it’s awesome to see and imagine life happening elsewhere, and during my first few hours of life. Thanks so much for sharing. Praying for Jamie and his family.

A sad date for me. My father passed away suddenly at only 55. Still missed greatly but so grateful for all he taught me.

My first child, Hannah, was born. One of the happiest days of my life. Still constantly amazed at the beautiful young woman she’s become.

I had my first date with the woman who would ( and still is after 25 years ) be my future wife.

This was the day I was born. I was 3 months premature and the doctors were certain I wasn’t making it, they suspected issues with my heart. They asked my dad if they could do an autopsy so they could find out the cause. The nurses didn’t want to stop trying but the doctor removed me from life support. He came back out to my dad and told him they turned it off and then I perked up and they had no explanation. I’m so grateful for everything they did, but also that they don’t know everything!

If the clock in the reflection is right, this was taken about a half-hour after I was born.

This is beautiful, my mother was in labour somewhere and to see what was important to someone else that day fill you with wonder. It makes you realise that everyone around you has their own story.
