My birthday! Amazing work

This was my first birthday. I am absolutely in love with this pic.

This is the day I was born. I was the first girl born on my dad’s side in 50 years. He had the local radio station play Today by The Smashing Pumpkins to celebrate.

This is my birthday as well. My siblings didn’t know my name yet so they made a banner that said “Welcome Home Baby!” I love that this photo is a homecoming for another person. This is a beautiful project!

As he gazes through The window, miles away a baby girl was born 2:03 PM, 6 lbs 14 oz, 19 inches long. The Mothers heart stops, the grandmother holds the baby tight as doctors surround her daughter. The one silent monitor lights back up. A sigh of relief.

That baby was me.

This is the day I retired from the US Navy. My wife and I packed our belongings, moved ahead, and began a new adventure.

My husband was born on this day. He’s 5 years older than me. I’ve always been Curious to see what that days was like. If I had a time machine I would love to travel in time and see what that days was. The day my best friend was born.
