My 9th birthday. This was not a good day. The man that molested me and threatened my life the night before sat across from me and my birthday cake smiling at me.

This was my 8th birthday. I was living in Denver, Colorado. This was a good time in my life with my family and my siblings. This was our second year in Colorado having moved from Texas and snow was still a magical thing. We lived on a hill so sledding was great. Our next door neighbor, Mr. Roth, had a garden show on local TV. He was always yelling at us for being on his lawn. Haha!

On thay day I was born in Honduras. My mother was 18 years old. She says she did not cry to show her mother-in-law how strong she was because she kept calling my mom weak. To this day, my mother is the strongest person i know.

I saw an article about the this group of photographs and only thought to check 2 dates the day of my birth and my tenth birthday when my dad passed away. Just so happen that day it was a picture of a funeral home not sure why but it made me feel better about life and more connected to the photos I’m glad Mr. Livingston was able to leave this work behind to show us life is a fleeting thing and a picture a day can tell a whole life story R.I.P.

On this exact day, my mom and step dad got married 🙂

My 10th birthday, was in love with the Ghostbusters. And this simply makes me feel good. Jamie seemed amazing.

This is the day my older sister Jennifer was born. A date she’s had to share quite a few times with the holiday of Thanksgiving. Back in the day my parents being immigrants from Montevideo Uruguay didn’t celebrate the holiday. But strangely for as long as I can remember we’ve always celebrated Thanksgiving. Sometimes we get an extra dessert in the form of birthday cake.

My 18th birthday!

This photo was taken the day I was born. I had no idea what the weather was like the day I was born, but look at that blue sky. Light jackets, it wasn’t too cold but probably the perfect middle weather between hot and cold, my favorite. I wonder who the man in this picture is. He had no idea when this picture was taken that one day, the person who was just born, was going to see this photo.

I gave birth to our amazing son, Alec, on this day.

My husband, two pomerians and a very pregnant me, moved into our first home together. We are still here.
My son, Alec, is now in his last semester at Syracuse. The two pomerians have passed. And we have a new addition,
Peedi (# Peedithepom). Also had another awesome son Luke, who I’ll write about on his birthday.
He is headed to Syracuse in the fall 2017.
