i was born on this day at 4:40am in Queens NY. it’s interesting to see ordinary life on that day & in NY as opposed to the fact that the only pictures i’ve seen from this date are focused around my birth. Thanks Jamie, you stay alive through photography & art, it’s beautiful.

I was born on this day, twenty-two years ago. It’s funny; there are some Polaroid pictures my parents took in the hospital that day and the subsequent days after. To other people my age, Polaroids are ancient history by now. But it’s nice that I was able to come in at a time when there was still some overlap. And it’s also nice to see how a different place in the world looked on that day.
