I was born on this day. Jamie was such an artist and I feel like his art isn’t appreciate enough. I really like his photos.

I was born on this very day, but just by looking at this picture I can tell that it’s daytime so I wasn’t born just yet. Twenty years later and I’m just starting to begin my own unique journey.There’s an indescribable feeling that I get when looking at these images, it’s like looking directly into the past(obviously), but a special look at what life was like and every other detail an image could ever portray. Jamie Livingston has inspired me to do something similar and I hope he has inspired many others. Rest in glory.

I was looking for November 14 but was disappointed at first because there is not a picture from that date and then I realized I was born in Nepal where it was already Nov 14 the day when it was Nov 13 in US. I smiled.

This was the day I was born in Atlanta, Georgia to a young college student. Three months later I was adopted by a couple who raised me with unconditional love. I hope this guy sold all of his flags

This pretty much sums up the day I was born. My parents couldn’t shovel the car out because of the blizzard. They had to call an ambulance and it was the only time my mother had been in an ambulance in her entire life until she passed away about 4 years ago. They still call me the “Blizzard Baby” to this day.

This was the day I was born. My mother was induced because of her being high risk. We both only had a 25% chance of living because she has an Auto immune disease. I know that when I was born they had to stop me from breathing and my mom had seen them do so, she hemorrhaged heavily because she was panicking but she said when they brought me over to her that I was trying o hard to look at her through all the goop on my eyes, that she felt alright and knew I was going to be fine. She wasn’t supposed to have me. I was supposed to be aborted everyone but herself and my father were telling her to abort me, including the doctors. But here both of us are. 20years later

Today was my birthday as well. What an amazing story. It definitely makes me think about how we catalog our days in today’s world. Often taking dozens of photos and sharing abundantly. It’s important to take a step back and realize why we take photos. Jamie gave his polaroids meaning and shot them with care. At that time there was no Instagram or Facebook. Now, it’s easy share photos in order to receive “likes” – a form of validation from others. Jamie’s story reminded me to cherish each day and find priceless moments. To share photos that are meaningful to me and my creative endevours. Thank You for keeping his story alive.

21 years ago at 6 in the morning I was born In a hospital in new jersey, my dad was a sailor and I’m joining this month. I couldn’t think of a better picture then the beach.

I printed this picture out and i have it on the wall of my room. I just like the idea of knowing what someone did on a day that i started existing.

My birthday <3 I was born in the Philippines. My mother had thought of getting an abortion because my father left her for another woman. But it is been 24 years and I could not have asked for a better mom. She is my bestfriend and she always tells me, I am her miracle. Mahal kita, mommy!
