This is the day my parents were married.

This is the day I was born. I’m turning 21 this year. I’m a photographer. I just learned about this project five minutes ago and will forever be changed.

So grateful that these photos have been published. Something so simple as seeing these strangers playing around on a sunny day, when I was on my way to being born thousands of miles away, has brought be so much joy.

So happy I got to see this mans work. A picture can tell a thousand stories and be interperated in so many different ways depending on the eye of the beholder be it religious superstitious or any other reason. Thank you Hugh for making the day I was born a little more insightful.

I’ve just discovered this page, it is such a wonderful work. This is the day I was born, and I can assume by the shadows it was late afternoon in New York so nearly the moment I was born here in Italy. Even though I obviously know it, it’s so strange to see that someone, on the other side of the world, was living his life in that moment, that makes me happy as this beautiful and peaceful photo does. Growing up in Seattle, WA it was tough to be a Mariners fan in the 80’s. I adopted the New York Mets in 1985. I became a fanatic and it was capped off by the 86 world series win. I remember exactly where I was at when this was taken. I was 12 years old.

This was the day i was brought into my forever home and adopted at 4 years old.

The day of my birth… and such an odd picture! I guess it’s a ferris-wheel, but the little skeletons… hahaha! I suppose it’s fitting, having grown up to be a dead-head and all. Love the colors and the focus, amazingly sharp for a Polaroid.

My first love was born the exact day. Sometimes I feel bitter about him but never mad. Most of the time I just see the good in him. We didn’t start quite right, thus ended just as quite wrong. We were both at fault, childish in our own ways, and a year younger than today. Funny how we can grow a lot as a person in just a span of time. Although we broke up over a year now, he certainly left a special place in my heart, even how short it had been. Those days may not be perfect for sure, but those made me the better person I am now. I thank him for being an instrument to that.

This is my birthday. And this picture is very me, I love taking pictures and I have, like, multiple pictures almost exactly of this one. This site is a gift.

I was born January 9th 1997. This picture speaks a thousand words. It’s crazy to think that this was happening while I was a newborn crying in a hospital far away in Michigan.
