My boyfriend and I both looked up our birthdays, he’s October 17, 1982, and I’m this day. Both photos look like they were taken in possibly the same location, just at different angles. That’s really cool. This whole thing Jaime did was really cool. 💜

I was born that day in 1994 at 00:30 am in a little town in Salento in the south of Italy, so I was spending my first hours out of the womb when this polaroid was taken. I find it funny because the style of her (the girl in the photograph) clothes and sunglasses reminds me of my mother back in the 90’s.

This is the day that I was born in Tbilisi Georgia at 8pm. On that day there was the biggest snow storm in years and the country was under civil war. It’s incredible to see what life was like through someone’s else’s life on that day.

I just found this website through searching for tips of shooting Polaroid photos. such an inspiring and impressive chronicle! Thank you for putting the collection online. Wish i had discovered 2 months ago to back the Kickstarter project! Anyway…i notice a lot of people looking at the photo taken on one of their birthdays or actual birth date. I decided to join in! Though i was already around when Jame started his project, so this photo is on the date of my 4th birthday:) Weird to think i am now 41 yrs old, the age Jamie died. Anyway, love this picture..Thanks again!

I think one of my favorite things about polaroid pictures is that you can’t change them, regular digital photos can be altered and edited, but polaroids are raw and untouched, whatever you took is exactly how it will stay, so even if your friend was moving or your mom thinks she has a double chin, it doesn’t matter, because that is how the picture printed. It captures a beautiful unposed moment. It captures life. 💜

My son was born this day at 5:16 pm in the same hospital and on the same floor I was, 20.5 years before. Sunset out the window of my room was gorgeous even through the pain. My ex husband, our son and I were three that day.
