At 06:05 on this day my first born arrived in this world after 36 hours in labour and a blue light ambulance ride to hospital. I was so tired and she was in special care baby unit. She was OK but they wanted to keep an eye on her. She was there for five days in total. I felt that my baby didn’t need me and wasn’t really mine. The doctors and nurses were more important in her life at that time.

On this day my daughter Sarah was born at home in our own bed. I had a wonderful midwife in attendance who made everything feel so relaxed and natural. Sixteen years later I helped my daughter change her name to Bonnie which suits her better. This picture looks like two,people who love each other having fun and just hanging out together.
